History
Dori Acampora started Integrity Consulting in 2005 after spending 10 years in various roles in the digital ad space. Dori decided in 2015 to broaden her skills & focus on the mental health aspects within organizations. This was precipitated by a “show and tell” presentation for her daughter’s first grade class. Dori, a slow, but experienced triathlete, noticed that many of the mental skills required in the sport of triathlon, would be valuable not only for her kids, but in business as well. From this, she started a triathlon program that went to schools and taught K-4th grade in Physical Education Classes. Through triathlon, the students learned about Determination, Self-Talk, Resilience, and Growth Mindset. The Triathlon program was a huge success, which lead to Dori enroll in the Psychology in Education Masters program at Teachers College, Columbia University in New York. Dori is completing her Masters Degree in May 2021, with a focus on Social Emotional Learning & Adult Education and professional development, with a special interest in youth athletic organizations.
